Design and Engineer: We'll design a part, device, or other item to your specs to perform a function to your needs. We can do it from scratch, redesign or improve an existing thing., or invent a whole new way of approaching a solution to your requirement.We also work with an excellent engineering firm that can engineer and design systems as large as an ocean front fully automated container loading dock or inspection systems for your production that tie into your computer inventory and manufacturing systems.
Computer programming for Windows OS: if you have a need to perform a particular function with a computer, we can write Windows Forms programs with a pleasing and functional appearance to do a routine computer task to save you tme and effort. Our programs take very little learning to run them. Most are data handlers that have clearly defined areas fo one to enter data and then click a button. Any software we build for a client is proprietary and can't be discussed here. But we use our own programs for cost and material estimating in house and these can be demonstrated to a prospective client. None of our programs "install" on your machines and so are safe to use on any computer, and as many as you desire. No licensing fees and you own the software and all rights to it.
Fiberglass layup: We use fiberglass and epoxy or other resins to fabricate parts, parts for the devices we build, machining fixtures and tooling and anywhere else it will do the job and lower the cost or improve appearance. Why, if you needed a fender for that old Corvette you've been restoring in the garage, we could even do that for you! We are versatile.
Machining: We have a well equipped machine shop with conventional and CNC machines and can make anything you need on them from almost any engineering material. We can machine to the thousandth or the ten-thousandth. Impossible machining jobs will take a little longer than the usual.
Welding: We can MIG or TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless steels. We also weld most weldable plastics. Welded joints versus bolted or riveted joints are usually a cost savings to you and so we do the best job possible. If you needed welding finer than we normally do, we have an associate company that can weld 0.001 thick aluminum foil, other exotic metals and they can do vacuum quality welding.
Fabricating: Plain old metal fabricating to develop and produce housings for our machines, individual parts, using sheet metal or heavier plate. Most fabrications are welded together for strength but all joints construction is determined by job requirements.
Mold and Die Making: We are experts in the making of die cast dies, stamping dies and injection molds. But that is not the business we are in. We use mold and die making just as a support for our machines and prototypes. We make simple open molds for your use or ours. Many parts needed for our bench top machines are made in open molds or simple compression molds because it will make the part more cost effective.
Metal Stamping: We make temporary dies or tooling for unique parts that need to be stamped. We do stampings up to 25 tons and only in short run quantities or a prototype run. Stamping is just an accessory to our main function.
CAD/CAM: We work from hand sketches often but when a precise drawing is needed we do it with a computer so it's easy to file and can be transmitted to clients easily. We do our programming for CNC with PowerStation Pro Plus, a very versatile program for drawing and machining.
